What needs fixing?
Choose the closest match. You don’t need to know what caused the problem before you call.
-
Emergency plumbing
A burst supply line, water coming through the ceiling, or sewage backing up into a tub. For an active leak, call rather than send a form.
-
Drain cleaning
Kitchen sinks, showers, and floor drains that won’t clear. Recurring clogs in an older home may need a closer look at the drain line.
-
Leak detection and repair
A damp wall, warm spot on the floor, or unexplained water bill. Tell the provider where you’ve noticed it and how long it’s been happening.
-
Water heater repair
No hot water, a leaking tank, or an error code on a tankless heater. Have the make and model handy if you can.
-
Toilet and faucet repair
A toilet that keeps running, a tap that won’t stop dripping, or a shut-off valve that’s stuck. Describe the fixture when you call.
-
Sewer line and backups
Several drains backing up together, gurgling after heavy rain, or sewer odors outside. Mention whether it has happened before.
What happens when you call
Tell us your city, what’s going wrong, and whether the water is shut off. Your call is routed to an independent provider who covers your area, subject to availability.
Pricing and call-out fees
Emergency call-out fees and repair costs vary by provider, by the time of day, and by what the plumber finds once they are on site. The provider quotes you before starting, and you can decline. If you are calling at night or on a weekend, ask about the after-hours rate up front so there are no surprises on the invoice.
Call 305-495-5447Water on the floor? Do this first
You do not need to diagnose the problem. A plain description is enough for the plumber to decide what to bring.
See what to do first
- Shut off the fixture valve under the sink or behind the toilet. If you cannot find it, close the main water valve at the house or at the Miami-Dade Water and Sewer meter box by the street.
- If water is near outlets or appliances, switch off power to that area at the breaker panel, but only if you can reach the panel without standing in water.
- Move rugs, boxes, and electronics out of the wet area and open cabinet doors so they can dry.
- Call the hotline. Say what is leaking, where, and whether the water is stopped.
Miami Plumber Hotline does not perform plumbing work or collect payment for the provider’s services.

A few things to know about availability, pricing, and how the hotline works.
What happens when I call?
Your call is answered and routed to an independent plumbing provider that serves your area of Miami-Dade and is available at that time. You then speak with the provider directly about your problem, their pricing, and when they can arrive. If nobody is available in your area, you are told so on the call.
What should I tell the plumber?
Your city or neighborhood, what is leaking or blocked, where the problem is (kitchen, bathroom, water heater, yard), whether the water is shut off, and whether it is a house, condo, or business. If it is a condo, mention whether building management has been notified. Photos help if the plumber asks for them.
Can I get a price on the phone?
The provider may quote a service call fee or a rough range on the phone, but most plumbing pricing depends on what they find on site. Ask them to confirm the price before starting work, and ask about the after-hours rate if you are calling at night. Miami Plumber Hotline does not set or collect any fees.
Do you cover my city?
The hotline covers Miami-Dade County, including Miami, Hialeah, Kendall, Coral Gables, Doral, and surrounding communities such as Miami Lakes, Westchester, Sweetwater, and Pinecrest. If a provider is not available in your area at the time you call, you will be told.
Can I get help in Spanish?
Yes. You can call or send the form in Spanish or English. Say which language you prefer and the call is routed accordingly.
